Booms / Barriers / Spike Barrier
The Spike Barrier eliminates unwanted vehicle entry to enter or, forces them into a secured area. This unit will damage the vehicles tyre’s to ensure immobility. The Spike Barrier is placed flush with the road surface and requires drainage points.
Specifications
Road blocking with 3-6 meters
Time of elevation - 5 seconds
Time of folding to de-elevation - 5 seconds
Maximum vehicle load - 10 tons per axle
Controls can be placed to the left or right hand side of the unit
The Spike Barrier is controlled by a torque motor and powered by a standard 220v source.
The spikes are manufactured from 8mm stainless steel or mild steel powder coated
Restriction height in “road block mode” is 500mm from the road surface
