History

IDS Time and Access Control was established in 2000 with the aim to gain a market share in the time and attendance field.

During the last five years IDS Time and Access Control has grown from a small entity to a considerable force in the field of time and attendance, access control and related fields with a strong client base locally and national.

IDS Time and Access Control played a major role in the development of our new range of Biometric products. We are represented in all major centres of South Africa with the head office in Cape Town.

Services

IDS Time and Access Control specialises in the following fields:

Supply, setup and installation of time and attendance software.

Interfacing between time and attendance and payroll software.

Supply, setup and installation of access control software.

Product training.

Supply and installation of clocking and access control terminals using biometric- (fingerprint), proximity or barcode protocol.

Supply and installation of turnstiles, vehicle barriers (booms), gates and gate motors.

Telephonic helpdesk service (24 hrs).

Development of Biometric applications outside the field of time and attendance and access control.

Management

IDS Time and Access Control is headed by Frank Bekker ND (Elec. Eng. ). He has 14 years experience in the fields of time and attendance and access control.
