Turnstiles / Pedestrian Barrier
Bi-Directional Access Control Barrier
This access control barrier would be installed at an entrance/exit point in monitored areas. This is the ideal solution at an entrance/exit point, used by pedestrians and paraplegics.
Description
The housing is manufactured from stainless steel 304, brushed finish or mild steel and powder coated in a standard RAL colour. The mechanism and logics are housed in the top of the housing, which is easy accessible through a screw-off lid. The housing will also provide enough space for other access control equipment (Power supply, Controllers etc.). The blade will be in the horizontal position until a signal is given. It will then move down into the housing were it will not be visible. When the beam is broke the blade will move back up to the horizontal position.

Mechanism
Robust precision mechanism with block bearings and is fitted with a 220V torque geared motor for reliable operation and secure locking. The motor and gearbox are enclosed in the same housing and are maintenance free.
Logics
The barrier has a full logic control that is compatible with all access control systems. It incorporates a safety beam in both directions with a time out feature.
Construction
The frame must be fastened to a concrete base by means of 10mm raw-bolts or chemical anchors. A level, flat and solid surface is recommended for the barrier to operate correctly.
Options
Enquiries on non-standard barrier, filler railings and pedestrian gates are welcome. The same design would be used to match them with the design of the barrier.
